How Do Our Senses Affect Our Emotions?
SCENT is deeply tied to our emotions. When we smell something, the scent molecules travel through the nose to the olfactory bulb, which is directly connected to the part of the brain responsible for emotions, memories & mood regulation. This leads our brains to form deep associations between scents, memories & experiences. For Feeling is Healing, our Marketing and Perfumery Teams were inspired by nature. In the same way that Mother Nature unleashes a bounty of brilliant scents, colors, flavors & wonders during the warmer months, we saw FEELING IS HEALING as a ‘primal scream’ -- releasing the expanse of our emotions from fiery moments to the heights of joy.

This inspiration led the team to design many creative pairings, including layering notes of
Radiant Citruses with an Amber Glow Yellow palette; unpredictable Fruity & Spicy Accords with Revved Up Red; and Fluffy Gourmands with shades of Popsicle Pink to capture the essence of the Feeling is Healing trend.

The Result

This bold & explosive consumer trend led to an olfactive story that, like our emotions, is vibrant, boundless, fiery, exuberant ... and yes, even a little messy.
